Before this, i had a new entry... wahaha~ scroll down to read. I do recommend those two Wakin songs~... and yesh, i know, it's my fourth album for the past few weeks. bah~
anyway, sort of slept thru the whole friday night, and amazingly i woke up damn early on saturday morning, at around 7am,
automatically. Guess my biological clock is turning back a way too fast also. Anyway, that doesn't represent that I had enough sleep, juz that, i automatically wake up after sleeping for a certain amount of time.
so, saturday will be spent with the Chinese High band. And
yesh I was from the Chinese High and I was in the band. thank you to those who are exclaiming now.
back to the topic, i was there because Chinese High is back to outdoors! yea~ not that i'm that particularly excited about the fact that they are back to outdoors, jus that the idea that the traditional of torturing ppl under the sun is continued... er... interests me. wahaha~ the
sadist in me. but i do like to watch display bands performance. good ones that is.
yanhui, me and kokwee met up for lunch (no prizes for guessing who came late), kanxin & hongguan joined us (yesh, they were later) and we proceeded to chinese high. The school changed a lot, in terms of new architecture. there are so many buildings currently under construction for plans to combine with HCJC, and the two schools are finally almost linked up with a shelter. goodness, why didn't they just build it beforehand? bah~
there we met a lot of old faces (with new hairstyles): derrick, zijun, benny & qiyang. oh, and there's ms polene lam who's now a missus (and looks like one too).
well, being the camera trigger-happy bunch of us, we started taking photos. as yanhui puts it, "wa, i didn't even take that much photos during graduation." i concur.

In front of the art block at the stupid thing that was there since our years

Every trip back to Chinese High, must take this photo... classic!we boarded the bus, went down to national stadium and watched the performance.
i was indeed impressed by them. it was definitely better than the other bands who were undergoing assessment, but then, still not good enuf for the actual central judging ba. there are still some places that can be cleaned up.
but den again, who am i to comment? my batch of outdoor-ers' performance was so much worse than them.
i was happy for them.
as for the rest of the central judging groups, well, i liked TK (not only the fact that they started their display with all the John Williams song, but also becos their patterns were pretty clear and straightforward, there's a theme to their display, and their drill was good). the others, so so la... i tot bowen was bad, shud only deserve gold (not honours) for their good drills. but well, i tink the whole stadium will curse the judges if they dun get honours... half of the stadium is full with "bo~wen~ bowen! bo~wen~ bowen!" display-wise, i like the last band, but they only got gold.

Strike Up The Chinese High Band... Finally!

Already almost raining, the bands still don't wan to seek shelter. So garang for what?

The new uniform, so sut, so nice~Aiya, I'm not really into the actual band scene anymore... 退隱桃園了... also don't really know how to comment... but then, took so much pictures, dun blog oso 浪費... wahaha~
