~ Saturday 120305 ~
Decided to go down to support Wensen in his production. wow~ really happy that he's co-directing and going all out to achieve his dreams. When i reached substation, i saw Adrian (from A.I.), tot he was there to watch the play as well, until they announced that he was the director of the play... WHAT~?! oh my~ i din know he's that good in chinese!
the play was good, and very enjoyable, tho i would suspect that most normal audience would not be able to absorb (ie, ppl like kok wee who enjoys Mean Girls thoroughly. READ THIS KOK WEE!). the plot talks about two people, a man and a woman, trapped on an island. the story was going to and fro from the reality to their memories and their imaginations. it's a very fragmented story, yet there is something so coherent that you seem to know what the story tells you but just couldn't figure out exactly what it is. a very thought provoking and cheeky play.
zy smsed during the dinner time and asked me how the play was, and i voluntarily said i would watch the play a second time with him. but, damn the traffic jam, zy couldn't make it in time, and i watched the play the second time alone, altho my fellow ZWXH friends came to support oso.
two times, two different feelings. interesting.
met zy after the play, went back home with him. interestingly, we noticed most of the ppl we knew have already started taking that major first step to achieveing dreams already. we jokingly said we would aspire to dominate the chinese market in times to come. haha~
~ Side Track ~
ok, perhaps i should announce this already la~ i took my second driving test on 24 february 2005. the tester was the exact one i got for my first one. the route was a more difficult one (because i need to travel to the 70km/h road and u-turn). perhaps because i kept the test a hush-hush thing, i didn't really feel that stressed and everything. in fact, i was planning to fail the test and come back for a third time.
BUT~ i completed my circuit with perfectness. no points deducted. i was that good~ haha~ did the crank and s-courses with utterly disgustingly slow speeds. whereas i whiss thru the parkings. the outside road was the irritating part of the test. it seems that every lorry, pick-up, taxi and van decided to park at the side of the road that morning, forcing me to move at a ridiculously slow speed almost thru-out (i hardly shifted to the 3rd gear, and i only moved to 4th gear at the 70km/h road). so, in the end... 14 points deducted. . .

yar, i passed. i got my photocard driving license on 280205.
~ Sunday 130305 ~
tink i slacked thru the whole day. did nothin' much. went back to camp to stay in at night.
~ Monday 140305 ~
full band the whole day. not enjoyable. just doing it for the sake of doing it. didn't really perform that well. was blasting thru the loud passages. as for the slow pasages? juz kept cocking up lor. terrible.

~ Tuesday 150305 ~
sdm vetting for the concert. well, it was pretty disastrous. yar.
slacked thru the afternn. decided i don't like slack life with nothin' to do.
went jer's place to barbecue. pretty fun. hadn't really been this relaxed as the few of us jus sat down, enjoyed the wind (or like alvin said: gua1 feng1 zhe1 tian1) and recalled the various memorable things that happened thru-out our saf band life. we also talked about the future. it was a very cool night. except being the toilet paper for jer's hamster (yanhui was the toilet bowl).
~ Wednesday 160305 ~
recording for NDP marches. one non-dictionarised word: PUI~. played G.O.H. march, Marching With Pride, Tentera Singapura, and two of aik kee's new marches. aik kee's marches were... er... a bit too... well... haiz.
zakaria sat in, perhaps to show that he still plays for band a. PUI~. and once he sat down.... *sniff sniff* *wide eye* WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SMELL?!?!?!?! AAAAAAAARGGGGGGHHHHH~ and i kept shifting closer and closer to jiaming (my eupho junior). finally, break time! *ZOOM* i was out of the hall IMMEDIATELY trying to breathe some fresh air. URHG~
took half day off. went down to orchard tinking yanhui will join me for a movie later in the evening. but in the end, he didn't want to make it, so i settled for an evening show of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events 5:30pm show. but it was 2pm. so, i went to kino, bought my The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, sat down at Coffee Club (outside Cali Gym) and enjoyed the book (together with my favourite camomile blossom tea). felt like an expat wor~ haha.
the movie was quite alright. i liked the tone and the feel of the movie. tot jim carrey did pretty good being the VILLIAN. nice move away from his other crappy oh-i-am-so-saint-and-yet-so-funny roles (tink Bruce Almighty and Ace Ventura). the kids were great! especially the actress being Violet. woo~! she brought a lot of emotional moments to the film which her co-star Liam Aiken wasn't able to achieve. and it brought depth to the movie which would otherwise be filled with just delibrately humorous moments. Anyhow, Meryl Streep deserved an honorable moment in her eccentric performance!

Last full band. nothin much. pretty tired of full band tho, physically and mentally.
zobo-ed in the afternn. got pissed off with a lot of management things. nvm.
stayed in all the way. watched Naruto with wenjing until late in the night. haha~ NO I WOULD NOT BECOME A FAN. mm, tink i'm gonna call up my sis to get naruto discs from her. NO I AM NOT BECOMING A FAN!

totally zobo-ed. . .
took my instrument out to practise, and in the end, kena caught by yusri who happy gave me a free masterclass. well, his tips were pretty useful tho. hmm~
felt i shud work on my conducting. practised the whole late morning, listening to a midi-recording on my mp3 player and conducting, practising a few awkward moves. tink i'm gonna cock up on sunday.
took half day to buy tics to watch Robots with yanhui. actually wanted to go home and sleep, but i changed my mind tinking about having no spare time for this whole weekend. *sighz*
went down with orchard together kok wee initially (yanhui couldn't leave yet). shopped at heerens and bought a white tee on impulse. ate my very late lunch at the pontian graffiti cafe there. enjoyed it~!
as kok wee left for his cali gym lesson, i went to the food court of cine and sat there reading my book until yanhui arrives (with weiye). weiye was there coz he's meeting a fren.
watched the movie. mm, pretty enjoyable, tho there's nothing much worth commenting or praising. yar. not bad, but not good enough either.
came home. dozed off pretty soon.
~ Conclusion ~
guess the ord-mood has really gotten the better side of a few of us as we're starting to get pissed off with changes to the management which does nothing but cause more inconvenience to many of us. no wonder the nearer ppl get to ord, the more fucked up one becomes. wut can we do? endure the irritating changes when we've seen more efficient and effective management before the changes?
nah. i shall jus heck care. and that is a very fucked up thing coming from me already.
