ok, so i found this trailer on apple.com website (as usual) under the Touchstone pictures. having watched the original japanese make of the movie, i wasn't really interested in this movie, until Jennifer Connelly showed up.

the original japanese movie was slow, bland and undisturbing. it was like a slow piece of work try to drive ppl crazy with all the almost-scares. and it wasn't really frightening. (and it was during the show when an indian shouted the infamous line "No Point La" that had me repeating it in the exact same accent and tone)

watching this trailer of the remake didn't really inspire me. in fact, i was pretty disappointed that Jennifer Connelly was actually part of this movie. the remake is not original, and most of the scenes were sort of like "been-there-done-that" by most of the other B-grade horror flicks. was it just a marketing strategy to not show any of the scares at all (unlike Ju-On whose trailer showed most of the important scare scenes already).

oh wells, watch the trailer and decide for yourself if u should watch it. i may, that's only due to the fact Jennifer Connelly is in it.
