My Weekend
Friday 261104
Had quite a pleasant morning. Forgot wut i was actually doing, juz know that it was a very slack morning. Decided to take half day off even tho it wud leave me with nothing in my off record, but in the end, staff maswan decided to give me half day off for helping kelvin chua to stand in as HQBO. wow~ Splendid~ i love you staff!!
came back home to get my singnet gift acknowledgement slip, and then rushed down to orchard to meet youwei and frens for lunch at NYDC. but, wa lao, there was quite a jam along PIE all the way to orchard. AND IT WAS A FREAKING FRIDAY AFTERNOON!! terrible. was trapped on the bus for almost an hour and was late. damn it. lunch was not bad. and come to tink of it, this meal was my second or third time having lunch wif alvin. yar... mmm...
went to lifestyle shop at specialist shopping centre to collect my new mp3 player! cool~~ so small, so light, and it had all the features of my old mp3 player, but with more space and more flexibility. i can control the EQ better wif this new mp3 player! yea yea yea~ now, kok wee, if u're reading this, i'm still not letting go of my old mp3 player if u're jus gonna stick wif paying me a miserable $20!!!
at night, went to Eden House (England embassy) together wif NAFA brass band to perform for their 100th anniversary of the building. wow~ i felt like an expat, socializing wif ppl in suits. then there's chio bus everywhere. (the event-in-charge resembled Celine Dion! a prettier ver some more!! haha~) played quite a number of songs which all sounded not bad, starting to like brass band music too. we even played the English national anthem for the arrival of Prince Edwards (whoever he is).
enjoyable day. very enjoyable one indeed.
Saturday 271104
woke up at 12 noon. gosh~ i actualli slept till that late? had a brief brunch before going down to kim seng. was late *again*, *ops*. the legendary Mr Ng Hok Kin came and i was playing together wif him. apparently a lot of ppl respected him and i was quite pressurized. but he was very courteous and very un-snobbish (if there was ever such a word) and encouraged me to play all the higher parts. wow~ he was really very nice. hope he comes down more often. :)
met up wif zhengqi for dinner. had no money so i had to borrow money wif him to have a simple BK meal. decided to go down to orchard to waste time, and met zhengyi, christine and gang who are on their way to jay chou's concert. wa, our class really have yuan2 fen4, no matter where i go, i sure will meet any of my classmates. haha~
crapped wif zhengqi all the way, kinda felt quite sad in the end that i cudnt really meet up wif a lot of my other classmates. really missed them. sighz. wished i got the time to organize something like a lunch or dinner in december.
met up wif thomas late at night to have a drink at kopitiam and chit-chat. gossiped quite a lot abt his frens.
another enjoyable day. wow~

almost woke up late, and pulled my mum out of the house to make her watch The Incredibles. it's my second time watchin' the show, but i know if i dun accompany her to watch, she wun watch anymore. but she cannot not watch this show sia! it's too good to miss! haha~ even tho it's my second watching, i still enjoyed it a lot! the movie is juz so sincere and so true to the hearts of ppl. whenever i watch the scenes of bob being so helpless working in the insurance company, i sympathize him and yet felt it's not so unreal after all.
pulled mum down to SITEX at expo. haha~ weird hor? oh wells, we had nothin' to do anyway. keke. browsed for things i need to buy for my new comp next year, took a lot of price lists (even tho i'm not buying a single thing). felt quite shiok la~ it's like window shopping without windows... er... ya... *roll eyes* whatever. u get the idea eh? haha...
