It has really been a while sia since i last blogged. Or rather, should i say, felt like blogging. had been doing it for the sake of doing it. tonight, juz feel like updating this page. perhaps after letting a few more friends knowing the address of this blog, so felt like updating it to prove that it's worthwhile to come here once in a while. haha~

It was zhenqiang's b-day today. woke up quite early in the morning and rushed down to town hoping to getting inspiration on wut to get for his gift.

First Stop: Orchard Heeren's. Went into HMV, saw Stefanie's new album selling at $20.95. wa~ so ex$... decided to leave Heeren's 'cos it was packed wif ppl. no idea why too. juz dun like to shop in crowded places.

Second Stop: Cineleisure Orchard. went straight to Sembawang Music Centre and got my Stefanie album at $19.90. haha~ den down to basement 1 to draw money. interestingly, the left most ATM never had ANY $10 notes, had to draw $50 instead. *grumble* had my lunch at Long John. went to More Than Words. wanted to get a few stuff, but felt like it's too simple to jus buy and give. wanted something more special and unique.

Third Stop: Plaza Singapura. went to Action City, discovered all the items there are either too expensive ( >$30 ) or too cheap ( <$4 ). went to a few shops (Molecules, Royal Sporting House, etc.) but there weren't anything that looked promising. went to Music Plaza hoping to get something musical, but all i cud find were rulers and pens designed as keyboards (which costed <$1).

Fourth Stop: Bugis. oh my goodness, i'm getting desperate and was really hoping to find something. luckily in bugis, all the gift shops were situated together (all on the third level) and i juz kept going in and out of the shops, making sure i din miss out anything. in the end, i bought a cookie jar (shaped as a bear's head) and a supposedly very nice gift bag (supposedly very nice until i put the present in it). sat down at a Pao Pao Cha cafe to package my present and write my "card" (which is just a piece of A4 music manuscript paper). spent quite a lot of time at the cafe until ppl were staring at me doing the presents. gosh~ after completing, i calculated the amount spent and wow~ i sure could spend without realising. gosh~

Zq's birthday party was fun. it was like a Band B gathering with jiahao they all coming oso. so fun~ haha. was chit-chatting wif a lot of ppl too. was hoping karen wud come, so that i cud bitch wif her abt somebody. haha~

wondered wut wud Zq tink when he unwrapped my present. haha~

went to cineleisure to catch Shark Tale wif Yanhui, Zhenguo and Yongxiang. found the movie quite enjoyable, laughed out real loud at some parts, but didn't find it overall better than the movie it's trying to rival (ie Finding Nemo). the colours were too kiddish, and the characters were just too superficial. it's like the filmmakers were just concentrating on spoofing things and forgetting abt developing the characters and the storyline. still, the spoofs were enuf to make my $8.50 worthwhile! haha~

yongxiang went back while yanhui, zhenguo and me went to the street hawker to get something to eat. argh, shudnt hav drank the Kickapoo, made my stomach upset. sighz...

oh wells, now i'm back home, but tired, but had an enjoyable day. pretty much enjoyed this kind of weekend. no commitments, no pressure, no stress. jus pure fun. i like~ ;)
