another busy week jus ended.

monday: GOH parade at mindef.
wednesday: Ex Elang Indopura Parade at Paya Lebar Air Base.
thursday: Changing of Command parade at bedok guards camp.
friday: SAF Day dinner at Istana.
saturday: Transfer of Command parade at Clementi camp.

had to endure another two more weeks busily packed with parades rehearsals. gosh~ when will i ever turn slightly less darker? i tink i'm getting extremely thin nowadays. got a shock today while i took a look at my own reflection on the glass doors of mrt trains. damn~ how ah? mus i really follow the Men's Health guide?

was stressed up becoz of the saf day dinner. ppl asking me to do this and that; ppl asking me for this and that; ppl asking me how when they din bring this and that... oh wutever... *thou shall be an evil person*

the dinner went on fine, with minor glitches here and there, but there wasnt any major cock-ups for ppl to come and charge us. haha. fazil told me he saw minister teo chee hean standing alone and facing us, listening to our music. haha. *happy* finally someone's appreciating our presence. keke.

reached back in camp at around 10:30pm after the dinner (not ours). ronnie and alvin and i went to the zhu3 chao3 stall together with some more ppl (mostly smokers), while others went to prata point to eat. din eat anything but went down to 7-eleven to buy some stuff back to munch.

saturday morning: transfer of command parade, which was basically some rojak parade made up of mainly change of command parade and part of ocs parade. it was terrible. half the time we don't know wut we're doing, the other half of the time, the rsm tried to tell us wut is going on, but doesnt really make sense, so we still don't know wut we're doing. oh wutever. and staff maswan had to disallow the euphoniums (me and fazil) to put down our instruments on the ground becoz of someone else's laziness. *YES* i had to mention. *grumble*

~ /workshop/ ~
booked out directly from clementi camp and went to clementi to have lunch with kokwee and weijyh. kok wee introduced western which was supposedly very good, and i ordered Chicken and Cheese. quite interesting, they put cheese into the chicken fillet and grilled it. then they topped it up with bbq sauce. not bad at all.

rushed down to lavendar to meet soon wei and zhenqiang for the music workshop. the workshop was quite fun and homely cause there were in total only like 11 of us. but we interacted and made frens. i learnt a lot of stuff la, abt things in the arena and things happening in other publishing companies (which sort of made sense). now, i'm really eager to try to make it. hopefully i do!

~ /SYO concert/ ~
it is my first time listening to an orchestra. it was quite fun seeing all the string players doing their hand actions. *smile* they performed Firebird Suite 1919 ver and altho it was not perfect, i was still quite impressed and blown away. there were points of time when hairs jus stood up on my body. *brr* the orchestra was indeed good.

~ /night life/ ~
ate at a particular turkish restaurant at Arab street together with ppl i watched the concert with. i tink it was yaw chang who suggested that place. we sat at a table far away from the actual stall, in front of an indian boutique shop. weird. anyway, the food was good. we ate crispy chicken and crispy quails, and we smoked sheesha (not sashi... h.a.h.a.... ;p). after that, some of us dun feel like going back yet, so we (after much discussion) went to bedok 85 to eat the famous Ba Chor Mee. the soup was really appetizing and i kinda liked it. not the best, but still quite nice. :) another place to intro to my parents liao.

reached home like 4am. mus really thank anney for sending all of us home. i was damn sleepy and had to sleep on his car, guessed he must be feeling sleepy and tired too but still had to drive us. thanks thanks!

suddenly i'm free. *paused for a very long while* shucks, wut shd i do? dun feel like wasting the day away sia~
