jus came back home from dinner wif kok wee, aloysius and yanhui at macdonald's at thomson road. it was supposedly a session to settle tomolo's movie session, that's why we were so ching chai wif our dinner location (kok wee and macdonalds do not come together).

anyway, the 980 i took to yishun had the car plate number TIB666L. Found it quite freaky. well, it's not a friday, or else it wud hv been a freaky friday. muahaha~ *ops* cold joke.

finally SAF day parade is over. over for me and my bandmates too. our first and last SAF day parade. the feeling's quite weird. the joyness of having to survive thru something so tough is not in me (shd i say) yet. guess i'm too used to all these parades that i've grown quite numb of them. parades? go lor, wut to do?

today's actual parade was a whisp. sort of enjoyed myself as i let my eyes wander and stare at the weird units holding banners at the spectators gallery. when they cheered during the awards presentation, oh my, all i can say is that they resemble a ruddy bunch of guys from a certain jc cheering for their sch winning the title. childish. still got weird actions to their cheers one leh. *cannot make it* shant reveal that the childish unit is commandos. *ops* wutever.

after having to see an indian who resembles President Nathan to stand in for him for all the rehearsals, we finally got to see him in person. nothing exciting coz it's not as if i never see him in person before (i wud scream if i see kit chan in person), but his appearance sort of like confirmed that the parade was an actual parade and that it wud be over soon.

always felt happy whenever i heard ppl from the gallery cheering for us band ppl when we marched past.

to those who know, pls do not tell others. i dun wan ppl to sympathize me coz i dun need them to. i dun wan ppl to act caring so that they can kaypo abt my life. to those who sort of know wut is happening to me but only knew haf the story, i guess u shd be able to guess the outcome of the whole incident.

kept borrowing conductor scores and listening to sort-of classical music. on my table now are the scores to Igor Stravinsky's The Firebird (Original 1910 Version), The Rite of Spring, Petrouchka and George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue and An American in Paris. jus studying the timbre's that these two composers use in their songs coz i'm quite fascinated by the outcome of the sound produced by the scoring of their pieces.

am in my composing mood recently. soon wei and zhenqiang were seeking advice from me abt song-composing even tho i'm still not very good at it. kinda felt honoured yet paiseh at the same time, esp when zhenqiang said "your songs are already much better than mine", coz i dun noe wut to say since i havent listen to his songs yet.

signed up for the music composing workshop next saturday. jio-ed soon wei and zhenqiang along. hopefully it will be useful for me and for them as well.

a lot of things havent update, esp for the events that happened so long ago. shall be starting on my cds review soon, esp when i've been listening to SO MUCH cds recently.
