~ Spidey 2 ~

woke up in the morning and mum looked quite okay, so we decided to head town to watch Spidey 2. she enjoyed the first one, so i wanna let her watch this second one too~

woah, i was quite surprised she'd never been to cineleisure, but come to think of it, it's not really a place for aunties like her. those ah bengs and ah lians might give her the stares of disgust. nevertheless, i decided to bring her there to watch Spidey 2 to experience different theatres. since we're goin there quite early in the morning, there wun be too much ah bengs ah lians oso.

we enjoyed the show, but mum was still comparing the movie to the old spidey tv series, saying the old one was more action-packed. weird huh? but i totally enjoyed the show. din expect it the movie-makers to churn out so much new and refreshing stuff after making the great original "Spidey" movie. lurved all the references made to the first movie too, like MJ testing out her new bf's love by kissing him upside down, and Peter having to see blurry images thru his specs and holding his pair of specs up and them to confirm he's not seeing things and so on.

~ Meeting Up Dom ~

supposed to meet dominic after lunching wif mum to swim at AMK, but his frens bang-seh him, furthermore he overslept. so, oh wells, he cancelled swimming. so we decided to stroll down orchard aimlessly and chat along the way.

stayed for a very long time at music plaza as dom was chatting (or rather, was forced to chat) wif this uncle from another church abt church music and buying a new organ for the church. was quite bored, so played around wif the pianos and looked thru all the scores in the shop. 2 hrs passed.

~ *turn* see a familiar face *turn* see another familiar face *turn* see yet another familiar face ~

at music plaza, met serg ong!! OMG~ so jing4 bao4. wut was more shocking was that he actually recognised me too! my goodness, i tot i was so the low profile in my BMT times? but he noticed me like since the beginning of BMT la, weird, as if he was like my senior liddat. altho he's not from my platoon, but was quite close to him during those times. oh wells, wutever.

briefly chatted wif him and i continued browsing the scores as he killed time (while waiting for his fren) playing the piano.

after me and dom left the place, dom had to go home as it was his mum's bday. so i decided to take the NEL to clarke quay to meet justin and kokwee they all. at the dhoby ghaut station, saw one of my BMT platoon mates, benjamin!! he was wearing no 4 and his rank is sergeant sia~ shucks. but i was talking on the phone, so i jus briefly waved to him and he waved back.

met yanhui and kokwee at the multicoloured building beside clarke quay station. as we made our way to raffles city shopping centre, met keith, *someone* and sin. then sin was like "aiyo, come out oso never jio me~". den i made a damn evil remark "we're the young ones ma." he screamed immediately. *ouch*

we (or rather stanley) decided to settle our dinner at the food court, and jus outside the food court, we met cpt chua!!!!! *red alert* *red alert* i managed to stay calm and continued sms dom on the phone and kw and yh pretended not to see him. it was aloysius to gave us away as he tactlessly walked beside cpt chua and looked away abruptly, allowing his presence to be noticed by him. oh well, he din do anything. and he quickly camoflaged ourselves in the crowded food court.

after dinner, stanley decided to go home first, so glenn, justin, kokwee, aloysius and me proceeded to pcc to "chill out". on the way, we met serg fong, the specialist from band b who ORDed before the bands moved to nee soon.

it was quite a fun day. felt like a very eventful and enjoyable weekend. never really walked around like this in orchard for so long, i kinda enjoyed the whole walking here and there thingy. now my legs ache from all the walking, but i still feel good. haha, self-mutilation sia~

someone's name had been popping up continuously today among the ppl i met due to coincidence. weird~
