Movie Watch

okiez, 'tis the season to be jolly! it's the holidays. it's the perfect time for the distributors of movies to showcase their movies and hope to earn big bucks. but which movie should we watch? which movie is worth our $8.50 seriously?

just watched a trailer to the movie "National Treasure". to be frank, i was definitely attracted to the poster by the small print right above Nicholas Cage's name: "From the Producers of 'Pirates of the Caribbean'". but so wut, the producers have also produced a lousy un-interesting movie "King Arthur". but the trailer kicked ass man~ definitely. the story goes like this: Modern treasure hunters, led by an archaeologist, Ben Franklin Gates (Nicholas Cage), who is the eighth descendant in a family all searching for the same thing: a massive war chest treasure reportedly hidden by George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin as funds for the Revolutionary War, using a secret code found in the Constitution (and a map that might have been drawn on the back of the Declaration of Independence) to find its location.

it felt like reading "The Da Vinci Code" all above again. codes left in actual monuments, secrets left behind by people from our history books. heck, it might be based upon actual rumours of the treasure. with all the hype about "The Da Vinci Code" and the movie basing upon this book to be released later, "National Treasure" is definitely one of the appetizing movie to watch before that movie is being released. ;)
