A Fun Day~

There was a lot of things that i needed to buy, so planned this day to be kind of like a buying trip (dun mistake it as my shopping trip.) was tinking of going to sim lim and get my stuff and back home to pack my things, but in the end, spent the whole day outside wif frens and turning the day into a shopping trip. it was very fun tho, hadnt really been doing this kind of shopping. haha~

ok ok, some of u may be confused with why i say buying trip is not a shopping trip. Buying trip is kind of like a planned trip, u planned to buy this and that and this and that. and the things u buy are more of necessities than anything else. wheareas, shopping trip is kind of like, hey i dun noe wut i wanna buy, and i'm jus going to go here and there and look at things and spent money on luxurious items that i find nice on the spot. (yes yes, i can see u twitch ur eye and going "riiiight", but that's how i live my life... muahaha~)

so so, wut did i do? woke up in the morning at around 10:30pm. remembered yanhui said he wanted to meet after lunch, so did my usual computer routine stuff, tried to arrange a song (but had no inspiration and was in no mood). din know he changed his plan becos of someone, and wasnt informed that we (three of us) were supposed to meet for lunch. had my lunch, called him, den found out he's alone in bugis. rushed down to bugis to meet him.

then, we proceeded to sim lim to get our stuff. tink yanhui wasnt really in the mood, kept complaining of a headache and din wan to get panadols. he din even want to bother abt comparing prices!! gosh~ that's a first. i was quite shocked. in the end, we roamed like only three shops before deciding on which shop to get our stuff. *ker-ching* $39 + $15 = $54 gone from my wallet.

chilled out briefly at TCC near Beldin's school. den everything was ok liao before we proceeded to borders at orchard to check out a book. hongguan messaged to say he'll be meeting us at 7. and it was only 5. argh~ so justin and i decided to watch movie. but din know wut movie to watch. decided to settle with The Incredibles. but it was a midnight movie. argh, heck it, we'll watch it anyway. we slowly (literally) made our way down to cineleisure (from borders!) and got our tickets (messaged kok wee along the way and he said he'll be joining us for the movie). *ker-ching* $8.50 gone from my wallet.

roamed aimlessly around the 2 parts of the golden triangle of orchard (ie Cineleisure + Heerens), got tempted to buy the t-shirt i longed to get for the past 2 months. *ker-ching* $29.00 gone from my wallet. argh~~ *pull hair in frantic* but, yar, din regret buying it at all! i love it so much~ the doggie is soooo cute~ haha. like me. er... ok ok, dun puke.

once again got tempted to buy, courtesy of efforts of mr justin yeo yanhui. Christina Aguilera Live in UK dvd. HMV was playing it and both of us were quite blown away by her performance. woah~ but but... cannot! argh... $25.95! ooo, that's cheap for a dvd. but but... *control control* cannot!! *breathe in breathe out* ok ok, it's code 2, my dvd player cannot read..... *phew*

hongguan came and we settled our lunch at the weird wanton noodles stall in the middle of annex........ YESH, IN THE MIDDLE OF ANNEX!! weird right. and they're using... *drum roll* GONG JI WAN (traditional bowls with prints of rooster on them)!! woah~ so cool. so fu4 gu3 (shant say 'retro'). and it was damn nice. or is it because three of us were hungry. haha~ heck, i tink it's nice. Full Stop! keke. *ker-ching* $2.80 + $1.50 = $4.30 gone from my wallet. mm.. this amount is still ok.

chilled out at Coffee Club outside the Cali Fitness Gym. had my favourite Camomile tea. (Coffee Club termed the tea "Camomile Blossoms"!. so nice... haha~) all three of us chatted (did we? *tink*) and played wif my camera there. tried to plan wut we're supposed to doing, but too lazy to do so. so heck it la~ haha... *ker-ching* $6.30 gone. camera ran out of batt, so went to get batteries. *ker-ching* another $5.50 gone.

after that, three of us roamed the whole orchard. walked from heerens to orchard mrt, enjoying the busking activities. quite fun to be watching them. there were ppl crowding around each busker, very difficult not to spot any one. haha~

"chilled" out *again* at macdonald's at lucky plaza. *ker-ching* $3.65 gone.

hongguan had to go cos he's not watching The Incredibles. met kok wee at paragon. watched the movie. so much more enjoyable than Shark's Tale. it's more original, and the beginning of the movie (after the 15 years part) was very different from the usual adventurous pixar movie. tho it wasnt as touching as Finding Nemo, but the lines were more cheeky and it was more fun. The Incredibles felt closer to reality too and the voicing by the actors were near to perfect (especially for Edna's character, voiced by the director Brad Bird himself. "daar-ling~~")

after the movie, was pretty tired and came back home. dozed off quite quickly. haha~ spent so much money, and so much energy. *yarnz*~

i'm-leaving-on-a-er.....-coach-bus,
Johnzzon
