guess i've really lost the momentum of blogging. always felt very lethargic once i got home and starting to find blogging when i'm tired a bit of a hassle. haha~

had a very good night sleep on friday night, perhaps due to chatting on the phone till 3am. keke. woke up at 12 plus pm yesterday. woah~ hadnt done this in a very long time, waking up to hear little kids screaming to go home after cca and birds flying past my windows and pecking on my windows. haha~ i'm not trying to be poetic or something here, but these noises really do irritate me. i quickly washed up and dressed up to go down to kim seng. promised guangyi i'll go early to check on the conditions of the un-used euphoniums in kim seng.
received a call from
a fren while on my way to ksws. quite worried.
reached ksws quite early, den realized they were having auditions for new members. wa~ sonny, guangyi and lawrence were sitting at the front of the band room staring at the auditee (is there such a word?) like the king, queen and jack of the spades family. (lawrence = king ; sonny = queen ; guangyi = jack) ;p sonny sort of gave me an angry stare when i first interrupted their audition session, but later on i learnt it's only him putting on a fierce front. haha~ gave me a shock.
found two unused instruments at the top of the cupboard. one euphonium and one baritone horn (omg~ so cute~~). the baritone horn was still in
quite good condition (at least i could turn the valve screws and take out the valves to oil them; the slides were all movable); the euphonium was quite terrible with white weird things all over the place and i could not even take out the valves even tho i could unscrew the top. had to use a wrench to pull them out. gosh~ after maintaining them (without polishing them... coz i was terribly disgusted by the white white stuff...), i took the baritone horn to try out, tinking it was quite fun. but... er... the sound is quite terrible. i was haf expecting a bright horn sound, but it turned out to be sounding like a very nasal trombone no matter how hard i try to sound mellow. yewz...
after the audition (5pm), sonny shoo-ed us to our seats and forced us to sight-read "The Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" arranged by John Wasson. oh gosh~ it was like a horn ensemble (4 horns) with the (1 clarinet; 1 alto sax; 1 trumpet; 1 eupho; 1 tromb; 1 tuba; 1 perc). sounded terribly weird. haha... almost reminded me of my first session in
Audio Image band. ;p

after band prac (6:30pm), went down to toa payoh to search for somebody. din really manage to find him, but manage to see woei kee and his gf... muahaha~ gave him a sms but din wan to bother them, so din meet up with him. felt terribly sian and came home despite justin jio-ing me for dinner. (my location was not very convenient la~)
oh well... wanted to arrange a song last night... but din hv the mood. almost wanted to jio someone out one, but nah~ too late liao. went to sleep at 11pm (that's considered VERY early for me). sighz...
