oh wells, dun seem to be a big deal for most of ya out there, but apparently i've never enjoyed the luxury of having a computer in my own room, or rather a computer with internet access for that matter.

oompleted fixing up my computer in the record breaking 4 hours long! the longest time i ever took to assemble a computer. gosh~ terrible. i feel so ashamed of myself. but since i'm a human, i shall put all the blame to the geography of my room. i had to run back and forth around the table to get access to the power point, then i need to run up and down to get new parts to my computer and to configure my router which is connected to my old computer downstairs.

started work at 11pm, finished only around 4. damn tired, den started to run a slight fever and have a very bad headache. forced myself to go to bed after i made sure all the internal hardware in my computer are running alright.

just woke up. (yes! i just woke up at 1pm!) havent had my lunch. gonna go have my lunch first. hehe.

wow~ to my own surprise, i managed to last until 1am last night playing warcraft. haha~ caught five mins of the CNY countdown program on channel U which is about the beer-passing game. wa~ i really condemn zhou1 chu1 ming2's emceeing. he sucked big time for letting vincent ng scold him for his insensitivity and rudeness. on the other hand, i was quite happy to see the other three hosts for the night to be zhuan2 yi2 feng4, zhong1 qin2 and wang2 lu4 jiang1.

woke up quite early this morning at around 8 to catch two movies with mum at shaw lido. wore my new shirt, and felt damn good! yea, i jus love to wear new clothes. haha~ reached lido at around 9:30am and to our surprise, orchard road wasn't as deserted as last year, altho shops hadn't opened for business. there were quite a handful of caucasian tourists and philipinos roaming the area. wow~

caught Constantine at 10:05am. it was a pretty enjoyable show, being a mixed of action, thriller and horror. it was a very well-done movie, considering that this is the director's debut feature, and Keanu Reeve's next attempt at action film after the Matrix trilogy. he was not bad, can see that he was trying his best to steer away from his "Neo" image, but the joy was watching Rachel Weisz with her oh-so-beautiful-that-i-can-jus-melt eyes. there were so many moments in the movie that it's jus Weisz and her eyes acting. (like a scene when she's submerged in water. *ops* shant spoil the movie for ppl.) to sum up, a very enjoyable movie.

came out at 12:15pm, had lunch at KFC, ate the $9.95, saw a very fat woman (of youwei's size) feeding on her chicken drumstick. er... yesh, feeding on. (think lions feeding on meat) anyway, yar, was feeling pretty cold from all the air-con. tink i'm falling sick.

went into the movie theatres again at 1:15pm to catch I Do I Do. didn't really enjoy it, tho there were some genuinely funny moments (watch out for the 999 joke) but most of the time i was quite put off by the many political references and advertising. well, u can say i'm officially condemning Do Do products now! gosh~ i should hav expected it when i walked into the theatres, but hell, it was much worse. it's a romantic comedy for god's sake, why keep mentioning the government's plan to raise the birth rate? it's a Jack Neo movie. if u liked his prev films, you wouldn't mind just watching this. if u never liked his films, this probably won't make u a fan too.

came home. didn't want to go to sleep even tho my head is throbbing with pain. (i left my sticks in camp) tried to work on my proj, and luckily i managed to complete haf of it.

two angpows collected. from my parents. havent open them yet. shall sleep with them under my pillow tonight. hahah~ so childish rite?

jus came back from my reunion dinner with my bro-in-law's family. went to one of the restaurants in imm to eat, ("Yun Nan Yuan Restaurant" for those who wanted to know) and it wasn't really enjoyable. the food was too average to even speak of, everything was so sub-standard, and the only highlights for the dinner was the fish (i seldom eat fish leh!!) and the wu3 shi1. yar, it was that bad. then, i wasn't feeling very comfortable sitting together with my bro-in-law's family oso. they kept asking weird questions and making weird comments, expecting me to reply somemore. urgh.

uncle: so, u all have to go back to work on friday rite? so sad.
me: er, actually dun hv to la.
my mum: he got off.
uncle: is it? how come?
me: oh, erm, i've got work on sunday, that's why got compensated off.
uncle: how come my son never have?
me: er... .......

uncle: (motioning to me) eat eat~
me: oh, it's ok. i can't eat big prawns.
uncle: how come?
me: oh, i'm allergic to it.
mum: his mouth will zhong3 when he eats big prawns.
me: yar. (continue drinking my guan yin tea)
auntie: wah, quite sad ah, cannot eat prawns. den can u eat other seafood.
me: oh, and crabs oso.
uncle: u eat sotong?
me: sotong can eat. i like sotong.
uncle: sotong more poisonous than prawns leh. u better not eat.
me: no no, i can eat sotong.
uncle: sotong more poisonous how can u eat?
me: dun noe. but i can eat sotong.
uncle: dun eat la, so poisonous.
me: (in my mind) but i really can eat sotong~~~~ (in reality) *nods head* *continue to drink my guan yin tea)

both my mum and i were beat from the last minute tiding in the afternoon, guess we're not going to shou3 ye4 thru the night. shall go find zhou1 gong1 early tonight, den tomolo can catch my movie marathon. haha~

overheard that my sis and his hubby is planning to give me ang pows~ yea!

went to watch a midnight show with kel c, zq, zhi zhi, ronnie and jamie after A.I. prac last night, mostly due to the crave for scary movies in some ppl. haha~ so, somebody decided we shd watch the hongkong-made "Shao4 Lin2 Jiang1 Shi1" (Shaolin vs Evil Dead) which starred the infamous vampire catcher. it was an utterly corny show... which... *gasp in shock* doesn't end. YESH! it didn't end! there is a sequel! and this first movie ended in suspense! MY GOD! DON'T WATCH THIS SHOW! IT'S CRAP! UTTER CRAP!!!!!

cny is coming. it's always a lonely period of time for me. no relatives, no visiting, and most importantly, no ang pows besides those given to me by my parents. don't really like to visit friend's place oso, coz it felt like a desperate attempt to get ang pows. forget it. i didn't bother abt all these in recent years already.

this year, i got it all planned out. Nian2 Chu1 Yi1 (first day of CNY) gonna go out early in the morning together with my mom for a movie marathon. we selected our movies already: 1) "I Do I Do" and 2) "Constantine"!! yea yea! weird rite? watching constantine on chinese new year, but my mom is all game. "aiya, why so mi xing (superstitious)". haha~ i love my mom.

Nian2 Chu1 Er4 (second day of CNY) gonna be lazing at home to finish my warcraft game. i know i know, it sounds pretty boring, doesn't it? this is jus a temporary thing la~ perhaps i go rent vcds home to watch. trying to find "Gong Fu" for my mom to watch oso. anybody has?

Nian2 Chu1 San1 (third day of CNY) shall be going back to HCJC to visit teachers. hopefully the school is functioning on that day. *pray* anyway, after that, will be making my way down to sim lim sq to get my new camera (yesh!!) of the same model (as the one i lost), and my all-new PC too! yea! Chu1 San1 is the day man! it is the day! den don't know if i shd go for the steamboat buffet with AI ppl...

Nian2 Chu1 Si4 (fourth day) should be staying at home and fixing up my comp and configuring all my stuff. mmm~ *mental note* have to bring my laptop back from camp on CNY eve. den at night will be going to pei's and qi's b-day party! yea! will have gotten my new cam den!! yesh! qi~ i bought ur present liao wor~~

Nian2 Chu1 Wu4 (fifth day) shd still be staying at home to fix my comp in the aftnn. perhaps if i'm more adventurous (i mean if i feel like going out), i shd be going down to esplanade library. long time neber go liao. den terence low's b-day party at night. OMG~ that's a third one this month for me lor~
